Communicating With Color, Design & Composition in Quilts

Our quilts communicate with someone viewing them.
They might describe a person, place or thing or invoke a particular
mood or emotion. Above all, they tell about the artist and his or
her view of the world at a particular point in time. This
class will enable you to find your own view of the world with the
knowledgeable use of universal color theory. ANYONE can learn to
use color as a natural means of expression. In this class you
will learn how I free myself with creative working methods that
release the joy of working methods that release the joy of working
with color, line and shape in fabric. Applying these methods can
help you make your quilts look “right” as a whole. If time
permits, there will be a discussion of machine quilting designs
(could be a very important message of the quilt).
